What time does the school day begin?
The school day begins at 8.41am with Tutor Time. Tutor Time lasts for four minutes, followed by the first class at 8.45am.
What does a typical school day look like?
Students attend two two-hour classes in the morning. There is a 15-minute break at 10.45am. Two further classes take place from 11.00am to 1.00pm, followed by a 35-minute lunch break. The final two one-hour classes run from 1.35pm to 3.35pm. On Wednesdays, the school day finishes at 1.00pm.
Can students leave the school during break or lunch?
Students are not permitted to leave the school grounds during the school day. From Transition Year onwards, students may be permitted to leave the school grounds during lunch time. This is a privilege and may be withdrawn if misused.
What are the school office hours?
The school office is open from 9.00am to 4.00pm on school days.
Is there a school uniform?
ETSS Wicklow does not have a traditional uniform. Students are expected to dress appropriately for a school environment.
Is food available in school?
Yes. Food is available to purchase from the school canteen, with lunch available from 1.00pm.
What extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are available?
