Welcome to the Educate Together Secondary School Wicklow website which I hope will give you a sense of this modern, vibrant and truly inclusive school community, that is firmly anchored in the Educate Together model of equality based, co-educational, child centred, and democratically run schools, where a strong community of dedicated teachers, supportive parents and enthusiastic and capable students work together to ensure that all students achieve to the best of their ability.

This school provides a broad curriculum and a wide selection of extra-curricular activities, ensuring students' skills and accomplishments are supported and recognised.

Digital technology is an important part of the educational experience where partnership with Apple and Microsoft are utilised to integrate the benefits of electronic systems into teaching and learning. Teachers at ETSS Wicklow have been commended, by National Professional Development Support Service for teachers and school leaders in Ireland (OIDE), who use the school as an exemplar of best practice in using Formative Assessment Digital Portfolios as a part of teaching and learning.

At ETSS Wicklow all staff encourage and work towards ensuring that a culture of elevated expectations, where student and parental voice are valued and students are prepared to become critical thinkers who excel in a modern, diverse, and connected world.
