WICKMUN is ETSS Wicklow’s annual Model United Nations conference, bringing together student delegates for structured debate, diplomacy, and collaborative problem-solving.
WICKMUN 2026
WICKMUN 2026 is the annual Model United Nations conference hosted by Educate Together Secondary School, Wicklow Town. The conference will take place over two days on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April 2026.
WICKMUN welcomes student delegates from 1st to 6th year, offering them the opportunity to represent a country within the United Nations. Through structured debate and formal procedure, students learn to negotiate, build alliances, discuss global issues, and collaborate with peers from schools across Ireland.

Student delegates from 1st to 6th year
Supervision and Delegations
Each participating school must be accompanied by a supervising teacher.
- Minimum of 4 students per delegation
- Maximum of 6 students per delegation
- Security Council delegations may include up to 7 students
Accommodation
Accommodation is available locally at The Bridge Tavern, located approximately a five-minute walk from ETSS Wicklow. A limited number of rooms are reserved for the conference at a reduced rate. All accommodation must be booked directly with the hotel and schools are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

Transport to Wicklow
Train
Wicklow train station is less than a five-minute walk from the school grounds. Return tickets are available and Leap Cards are accepted.
Bus
Bus Éireann route 133 operates hourly between Wicklow and Dublin and stops directly outside the school. Schools are advised to recheck timetables closer to the conference date.
Conference Fees
- €35 per student
- €35 per delegation
- The same fee applies to chairs and co-chairs
Conference fees include a meal on Friday evening and lunch on Saturday.

Schools interested in attending WICKMUN 2026 are invited to submit an expression of interest. Applications to chair or co-chair committees are also welcomed.
As WICKMUN does not use website-based registration this year, all enquiries and applications are managed directly by the WICKMUN team.
